Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between CPR-C and CPR-HCP?

The First Aid & CPR-C course teaches CPR for babies, children, and adults and is a requirement for office, oil and gas, construction, fitness, and other industries. The CRP-HCP course tailors specifically to health care providers (e.g., physicians, nurses, EMRs, EMTs, paramedics, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, optometrists, and allied health care providers – RTs, OTs, and PTs). All materials covered in CPR-C are also captured in CPR-HCP.

ALL Standard First Aid courses include both CPR-C and CPR-HCP offerings.

2. What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Full refund of registration costs will be provided for cancellations submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the course start date and time. Those who cancel within 48 hours of this date and time will not be eligible for a refund but may re-book the course for a future date and/or time. Once a course has commenced, however, cancellations and no-shows are no longer eligible for refund or re-booking.

3. Can I complete my First Aid training online?

No. Online First Aid training compliant with Occupational Health & Safety standards is not available in Canada at this time.

4. Recertification: My Standard First Aid certificate is expired. Which course should I take?

The Standard First Aid and CPR Recertification course is only for those who can provide a non-expired Standard First Aid certificate. If your certificate is expired, you must register for a full Standard First Aid and CPR course.
